April Clark
April Clark, a Reno, native, was born and raised in the business. Her father, Allen Dunn,
started one of the first agencies in Reno in 1970 and he called it MPR. He grew the agency into the largest
agency in Nevada... Today it is called, DRGM. April worked for the agency throughout high school and college.
After graduating from UNR she began a career in Radio. She went up the ranks over the years, with thirteen of
her sixteen years managing radio stations.
Now, April is ready to follow in her father's footsteps and make a mark in the agency business.
Kara Brown
Kara Brown is a native of Montana, but calls Nevada her home. She has lived in the Reno area for nine years
and plan on being here for a lifetime. She studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of Montana. Her first
"real" job was in Vancouver British Columbia, where she worked for a marketing firm called Can/Am (Canadian/American)
Marketing for almost two years. It is here where she first became interested in the marketing arena.
Upon moving back to Missoula, MT, she was offered a job by CBS Television. She sold television advertising for
KPAX for 2 years, before transferring to KTVN, in Reno. She sold air time for KTVN for just under two years, whe
April Clark, brought her into the radio world. She sold radio and then continued to manage stations with April
Clark for the next eight years.
